I have also learned about this theory in social psychology and find it to be very intriguing. It was interesting to see how your results ended up displaying the opposite of what you hypothesized, further exhibiting that there is much more research to be done within this topic. Do you know if reciprocation (whether or not ones attachment to a parent/individual is shared) has an effect on the specific topic of future dating relationships that you studied?

Humans are extremely complex beings. Just because someone has a certain attachment style with their caregiver does not mean they will fit the perfect mold of what the typical character traits are that are associated with that attachment style. Regarding whether a person can grow out of certain traits associated with their attachment style, it is possible. Future relationships, especially intimate ones will affect a person's character traits. For example, someone with a secure attachment style who enters a relationship with someone untrustworthy could lead to them acquiring anxious attachment characteristic traits. I really enjoyed learning about this because I also find psychology interesting. I was fascinated by the attachment theory and all that it entails; it is clear that you took a lot out of your experience in this lab. My question is can a child grow out of the traits that are associated with their specific attachment style?
