Audiometry Screening for Hearing Impairments

Presenter: Jolie Sherman, Government & Politics, Global Public Health Scholars

I am working at an audiology lab on campus helping to conduct research on various hearing impairment studies in order to improve the knowledge and understanding of audiology in public health. It is necessary that audiology is prioritized in the public health sector, as financial and physical support to further its research are currently inadequate. I have been doing specific research on the effect of pupil dilation on listening effort for cochlear implant users. My research has been furthering my understanding of the hardships circling cochlear implant users.
