For my practicum project I am participating in the resilient leader training for the Evolving Minds Mentor Program. This training has consisted of learning the four important resilient skills which are mindful pause, expressing gratitude, remembering joy and recognizing goodness. This program targets students and professionals directly with these skills, with the ultimate goal of assisting in overall mental health. Last semester, we worked towards fundraising for the training to be provided to teachers. We reached well over our goal, and were able to provide this training for teachers in attempts of bettering their mental health and ultimately having a positive impact on their students as well. Our training in these skills has also allowed us to practice them with specific groups of people over the break, aiming to spread the ability to prioritize human connection and improve the mental health of the community as a whole.
Are tabs kept on people who participated in this program? For example, is there an occasional check-in on past/present participants' mental health?
