Hello Destine, I'm sorry you were unable to complete your practicum project hands on, but it seemed like you still learned a lot and I really enjoyed reading about your project! I know in your future aspirations section you said you want to spread awareness about proper sanitary habits to all communities, I was wondering what other communities you hope to spread this awareness to? Additionally, as it can be hard to get kids to have proper sanitation due to germs from playing and engaging in other activities, how do you plan to encourage kids to not only listen to, but follow your lessons?

Hello denise, I am so sorry to hear that you were not able to fulfill the needs of your project due to this pandemic and I hope all is well with you and your family. I really enjoyed reading about your project. With this pandemic I think promoting sanitation is especially important for children and everyone in general. One question I have is are there any ways that you spread awareness about the importance of sanitation to a different audience through a different medium?

Hello Destine'! I'm so sorry that you could not carry out your practicum. I would have loved to see what you could offer in person! I actually think that poor sanitation is especially relevant to now. Good hand washing habits and techniques might help disabled communities in their efforts to prevent people from getting sick at the rate at which they are now. My main question is: Since COVID-19 impacted your ability to work with students and good personal hygiene is more important than ever, do you still plan on trying to implement these lessons/techniques even though you can't see your audience in person?

Hi Destine' :) It's unfortunate that a lot of practicums were canceled this year as a result of the coronavirus, but your poster exhibits the effort and work that you put into your project. Some questions that came to mind when looking at your poster were:
Which communities would you like to hold future sanitization sessions in? and
Do you plan to promote the importance of sanitization to children in the future?

Hi Destine'! Sorry to hear that your practicum was cancelled due to COVID-19, I know that was the case for a lot of students. Regardless, I enjoyed your project topic and overall presentation. A couple questions I had are: What kind of specific "activities" would be incorporated to promote cleaner sanitation habits? I'm sure when working with disabled kids, some activities have to be modified to accommodate for their abilities, so what are some examples of activities that would be done? Also, you mention you created PowerPoints and flyers to spread awareness. Did you distribute that to NewTown ES and the school showed the kids? Or how did that work?
